The work emerged during an artist residency in Svalbard, in direct collaboration with the environment.
Melting ice traced paths through the material and revealed hidden layers — remnants of past life stored within the landscape.
The surface carries imprints of time, erosion, and change, as a reminder of ecosystems that are slowly disappearing while simultaneously remaining visible.
